Terms of Use

Effective April 18, 2026 · Last updated April 24, 2026

These terms apply to work that Luijpers Labs distributes — applications, tools, templates, and other material we make available through the Luijpers Labs website, through direct delivery to people we know, or through a managed deployment channel we arrange. If you received a copy through one of those channels, you're welcome to use it under the terms below but there are a handful of things you're not allowed to do with it.

Who may use what we distribute

A Permitted User is:

  1. Someone to whom Luijpers Labs has directly given a copy (including through a download link we shared with you), or
  2. Someone at an organization to which Luijpers Labs has directly provided a copy for internal use — however that organization chooses to deploy it to its own people (their own Intune tenant, Group Policy, or similar), or
  3. Anyone else to whom Luijpers Labs has granted permission in writing (email is fine).

If none of the above describes you, you are not a Permitted User and have no permission from us to use what we distribute.

What Permitted Users may not do

Scope of these terms

These terms cover only what Luijpers Labs distributes through Luijpers Labs channels, starting on the effective date above. If you have a copy of something that reached you through a channel we didn't arrange — a colleague handed it to you, it was already installed on a machine you inherited, anything outside our distribution — these terms don't speak to that copy. It came to you under whatever arrangement the person who gave it to you made, and any questions about it belong there, not here.

Reserved rights

You don't own what we distribute. Using what we distribute does not transfer ownership to you, and does not grant you any rights beyond those described in this document. Any rights we don't explicitly grant here, we retain.

If things break

We've tested what we distribute on our own machines and the machines of people we've given it to. It works. But we can't guarantee it will behave on yours, with your files, on your schedule.

Back up anything you care about before running our software against real files. And test with a throwaway copy first — not on the only version of something that matters.

If something eats your file, locks up, misparses a statement, sends the wrong PDF to the wrong person, or does something else you didn't expect — we're sorry, and we'll help debug if we can, but we can't be held liable for the consequences. Use what we distribute at your own discretion.

If we ask you to stop

We may ask you to stop using material we've distributed to you — because something changed, because a use case has become problematic, or for any other reason. If that happens, please uninstall it and stop using it. We'll try to give you a sensible heads-up where we can.

This is meant to be a conversation, not a lockdown. We've never had to ask anyone to stop, and we'd like to keep it that way.

Referencing these terms

The authoritative, human-readable version of these terms is published at this page:

When distributing a Luijpers Labs application — via the Luijpers Labs website, through Microsoft Intune or another managed deployment tool, or by direct delivery to a client — you may reference that URL as the information URL for the app. A copy of these terms is also included in each Luijpers Labs application repository, and the two are kept in sync.
